Ingredients

  • 500 grams burrata, about 4 balls
  • 1 slice ham, small
  • 1 fresh mozzarella
  • 400 grams grape tomatoes
  • Fresh basil, for garnish
  • 6 peppercorns
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons balsamic glaze
  • Pepper, to taste
  • Sea salt, to taste

Instructions

  • Place the burrata balls two by two in the center of a serving platter.
  • Slice the fresh mozzarella and use the medium petal cutter to cut four ear shapes.
  • Use the flower cutter to create a woolly fringe from the mozzarella to sit atop each burrata.
  • Cut smaller petal shapes from the ham to line the inside of the ears for color.
  • Arrange the ears and the mozzarella fringe on the burrata to form lamb faces.
  • Press peppercorns into place for the eyes and nose.
  • Scatter grape tomatoes around the burrata clusters.
  • Tuck fresh basil leaves among the tomatoes for color and aroma.
  • Drizzle everything with olive oil and a modest amount of balsamic glaze.
  • Finish with sea salt and freshly ground pepper to taste, then serve immediately.
