September 30, 2020 – 24Bite marks its first anniversary. Fifteen-year-old Christian Guzman and his mother have spent the past year building the blog and sharing recipes inspired by family traditions and Christian’s own creativity.
“The website is dedicated to the memory of my great-grandmother, who loved to cook and even owned the Brookshaven Café,” says Christian. That love of cooking has been passed down through the family and is a central part of the blog.
Alongside publishing recipes on 24Bite, Christian plans to launch a YouTube channel and aims to publish a cookbook in the coming years. His goal is to share approachable recipes and techniques that home cooks and young chefs can enjoy.
“I’ve been filling 24Bite® with pizza and Mexican food recipes—my favorites,” Christian explains. “I’ll also experiment with other dishes along the way. There’s more to love than just pizza, but it’s definitely a big part of what I cook.”
