These black and white peppermint brownies layer a sugar cookie base with a mint-infused brownie, two kinds of chocolate, holiday sprinkles, and M&M’s White Chocolate Peppermint candies. They’re festive, simple to prepare, and make a lovely gift this season.

The holidays are the perfect time to bring out classic recipes and try a few new treats each year. These peppermint brownies are full of flavor and striking to look at—easy enough for bakers of all levels. If you don’t have the peppermint M&M’s, regular M&M’s or chopped peppermint candies work well too.
This version of the recipe came from packaging I found inside Glad holiday storage containers. The quantities are designed to fill a 9×13-inch pan, which makes these bars convenient to bake and share.

Ingredients:
Sugar cookie mix
Brownie mix
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
¼ tsp. mint extract
1 cup white chocolate chips
½ cup holiday sprinkles
1 package M&M’S® White Chocolate Peppermint candies

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Prepare the sugar cookie mix according to the package directions. Press the prepared cookie dough evenly into the bottom of a greased 9×13-inch pan to form the base.
Prepare the brownie mix according to the package directions and stir in 1/4 teaspoon mint extract. Pour the brownie batter evenly over the cookie layer, then sprinkle 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips across the top.
Bake at 350°F for 25–30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out with a few moist crumbs. Remove from oven and allow to cool completely in the pan.
Melt 1 cup white chocolate chips according to package directions, taking care not to overheat. Once smooth, drizzle the melted white chocolate over the cooled bars.
Top with 1/2 cup holiday sprinkles and a generous amount of M&M’S® White Chocolate Peppermint candies while the white chocolate is still soft so they adhere.
Allow the drizzle to harden before slicing into squares. Serve and enjoy.

These bars look festive and taste delicious—perfect for holiday parties, classroom treats, or wrapped up as edible gifts.
